John06 Posted September 13, 2023 Author Posted September 13, 2023 The pipes have to snake up and around where the axles will be for the transaxle
John06 Posted September 13, 2023 Author Posted September 13, 2023 Better pics of the exhaust pipes, if you look you can also see the mufflers I modeled
John06 Posted September 13, 2023 Author Posted September 13, 2023 Closeup of the headers, these were completely freehanded with no reference for the engine so I hope these fit lol
John06 Posted September 13, 2023 Author Posted September 13, 2023 Close up of the exhaust in the frame
John06 Posted September 13, 2023 Author Posted September 13, 2023 Another thing I got modeled was the front suspension
John06 Posted September 13, 2023 Author Posted September 13, 2023 Upper control arms with some bracing
John06 Posted September 13, 2023 Author Posted September 13, 2023 Lower control arms, I still have to work out some tubing/bracing for these
John06 Posted September 13, 2023 Author Posted September 13, 2023 Updated picture with everything assembled, next up to be modeled is probably the floor/interior
John06 Posted September 13, 2023 Author Posted September 13, 2023 Here’s some more sketches of what I hope to do with the actual body as well 1
Slotto Posted September 13, 2023 Posted September 13, 2023 Cool stuff. I too would like to get into 3d printing. I've been doing cadd work for nearly 30 years. I'm very familiar with sketchup too. I have blender but it looks like it's a steep learning curve.
