VW Dave Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Not trying to burst any remaining bubble material, but the movie car was a '66. As a '65-65 Shelby fan from way back, I'm looking forward to progress reports on this one.
Car Crazy 81 Posted March 4, 2009 Author Posted March 4, 2009 Dave- Thanks for the correction i corrected the problem im just getting started i thought it was a 65 at first i had no clue that Revell made 66 Fastbacks.
Car Crazy 81 Posted May 4, 2009 Author Posted May 4, 2009 Heres some progress its not much but its better than nothing. The frame has been painted with Rust-Oleum "Textured" Semi-Gloss Black and also i added a set of Shelby "Hertz" Magnum 500 wheels.
Car Crazy 81 Posted September 25, 2009 Author Posted September 25, 2009 Heres some progress so far i sprayed the body in black primer to find any imperfections which i found a few. I changed out the wheels with a set from a Revell/Monogram 70 Mustang "Magnum 500 wheels. More to come.
