karbuildr Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 This is a very nice kit, lots of details, and everything went together with no major issues. Only one minor problem I had was the clear plastic windshield didn't quite line up with the inside of the interior roof. Almost as if the windshield was undersized a little bit.The engine compartment got a bit tricky when fitting the intake hoses but they do give it a sufficiently busy look in there. It's painted in Oldsmobile Lucerne Mist Poly, a very nice light metallic blue. It was cleared with Tamiya TS-13 and polished. 11
Yeah Nah Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 VERY nice work David. Great colour choice and finish!
XYHARRY Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Nice build there David, the stance is perfect. Well done. Cheers, David M. ??
atomicholiday Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 The color is perfect David. Really excellent job!
rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Really good! Checking out the engine bay with the 3 two barrel carbs. Sharp color.
espo Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Great looking color and finish, the low-profile color sort of hides the 442 vibe. Like the stance and the clean looking body trim.
Rattlecan Dan Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Very nice build. Great color and nice stance.
ea0863 Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Lovely color choices, great chrome work, and excellent under-hood detail. Well done!
karbuildr Posted September 17, 2023 Author Posted September 17, 2023 Thanks to each and every one of you folks for the very kind words and likes.
AMT68 Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Great looking factory color and overall work on the build.
TransAmMike Posted September 18, 2023 Posted September 18, 2023 Super nice job on the 4-4-2 David. The 66-67 4-4-2's are a favorite of mine?
karbuildr Posted September 18, 2023 Author Posted September 18, 2023 Tom, Mike, Glen and Hanjo, thank you very much.
Bills72sj Posted September 19, 2023 Posted September 19, 2023 Very Pretty. FYI, GM engine compartments are generally semi-gloss black unless you had the rare red plastic inner fenders.

I actually knew that but sometimes I don't bother for the simple reason I happened to like the body color engine compartment for this build. 1
