I bought a regulator for Nitrogen tanks. The tanks get refilled to 3000psi. The regulator takes it down to 60psi max. I haven’t tried it out yet. I plan to fire it up next weekend for a tank model.

I really like the idea of dry nitrogen, it's extremely clean stuff. I used it almost daily as an HVAC tech but lugging that cylinder  would wear me out as I reached my senior years ?. It's a great way to go and you don't need a moisture trap but I would purge a bit before a paint job if the hose had been open to the air. Be extremely careful handling anything with that much pressure  and never open the bottle with the regulator turned in at all. You can blow the diaphragm....and turn it in very slowly when you regulate. You probably know this, but for anyone else considering this, be aware of the safety implications of handling pressurized cylinders.

Hmmm I botched that reply.

I’m a plumber and have had my own tanks for years. I didn’t think of safety warnings for people who have not handled this high pressure gas. I had imagined it would only be people who already use nitrogen. Good advice.
