Some parts, mostly scratch, and a lot of fun!

Sometime you see a picture online, and you want to build it. I saw a picture of this vehicle, and here I am, with another project on the bench... :)

Not knowing exactly what the 1/1 vehicle is based on, I use a El Camino SS kit, from AMT/ERTL.

Here the start, the boring part to build a rolling chassis, I did make new springs for the rear.

Now into more interesting stuff, in building the structure of this vehicle. Little bit after I toke this photo, I removed the two diagonal piece on top of the fire wall.

I'm not sure if the wheels and tires are from the El Camino kit. When I got this kit the box was open, and some parts were loose. Test the fittment

of all the parts to make sure the tires will be touching the ground. Later I will add the rest of component in the engine bay, and add a was all

around, wheels/tires and under chassis.

More progress! The boring part was to carve all the wood grain, on all the pieces. Time consuming but as you can see, it helps to simulate the wood. I will add also a wash later.
The interior, is pretty much completed, no I dea where all the parts came from, as far as kit. But they works good for this project.
