Already gave one clue: didn't run a full season. Here's another: He's a Hall of Famer.

He entered eight races in 1958 driving a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. Won six, finished second in another.  By some margin, the best winning percentage for one driver in one car in one season.

Number 22, Edward Glenn Roberts Jr.
