Roadrunner
And the body now gets the Tamiya clear blue. Once clear coated and polished, it should look pretty snazzy. 5
David G.
Nice catch on the molding issue Kevin as it certainly would have shown itself after you put some color down on it. Speaking of color, that blue over the silver looks fabulous! David G.

TopherMcGinnis
Very nice work! Where did you get the diamond flake?
SpeedShift
Beautiful build so far....have you tried to insert the interior into the body shell? I've been working on a chopped version with photo etched wire wheels, ran into a problem with the interior fit.

The photo etched Kelsey-Hayes wheels were from Replicas and Miniatures....RM-98 1/25 VINTAGE WIRE WHEELS. It included Norm's big & little resin tires and Detail Master PE wire wheel sets. (Was $39.95) Norm still has lot of great tire choices - but when I asked about the photo etched wheel set he advised they are no longer available as Detail Master stopped producing the photo etched wheels to go with the tires. I read the instructions several times before putting them together, as the build looks a bit complicated at first. The photo etched wire wheels are flat, and took a LOT of dexterity to bend the inner and outer spokes to interlace the front and back wheels, then superglue them together, but they are very convincing pieces when done. I would order them again if they were available....I'll bet there are a bunch of them out there that were bought but have never been built. Thanks, Jim, I'm sure the price is much higher now if any are available. Too rich for my blood.
