The Central Pennsylvania Model Car Club had/had a professionally designed web site (www.cpmcc.org) that is maintained by a former club member who has gone into "run silent, run deep" mode, primarily, I believe, as a result of personal matters getting the upper hand on him. The server periodicallly crashes, and I am only blessed with the ability to modify and update certain elements. I am unable to update or import newsletters or photos. I can however update all the simple content like calendar events, FAQs, etc.

We could use some assistance creating a new site from someone of a highly charitable nature who is skilled in the black art of web design. As much as we love the site we have, we are unable to promote, advertise or rely on it because of the aforementioned issues. We have tried to secure ownership of the domain name, but failed in our efforts thus far.

I have considered using freewebs and paying for the upgrade out of my own pocket, but I think the club deserves something more polished than my skill sets can support.

Thoughts? Suggestions? The site (if it is up) is exactly what we wanted in a web presence, so it's features would give anyone able to help us a good gauge of what we are looking for on our next effort.

If interested or able, please e-mail me to discuss.

Thanks in advance, and apologies for the shameless begging.
