Meet Sapphire, a 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix with a 376HP 421 Tri-Power and a 4-speed in Testors Arctic Blue.

This one is now done. Introducing Sapphire. She is painted with Testors Arctic Blue enamel and has a, factory optional, slate interior. The console was scratch built and photoetched power window switches were installed. It is the luxury version of a Pontiac after all. She is one of the sisters in my Big Girls batch build.

Superb Grand Prix Bill! Love all 65 Pontiacs but to my eye the roofline on the Bonneville does it best.

Thank you, Garry. I am a fast back fan too.

Wow! Look at that gloss…excellent job all around, makes me want to grab one of these kits even though I’ve never particularly cared for the 1:1

Thank you, Mike. I have always love the lines on these cars.

Checking out the killer 421 emblems on the front fenders! That is a tuff machine with the 421-376HP and 4speed. a dream car.

Thank you, Robert. I made the 421 emblems from clear water slide decals and BMF.

First off Bill, that Testors Arctic Blue just catches your eye.  Just picked up a bottle at HL the other day.  Great detail work on the interior and the 2 dueces look pretty kewl.

Thank you, Bob. ? I learned that thinned Testors enamels airbrush really nice if you are willing to let them cure as long as possible. They also lay down glossy.
