1320 Posted February 8, 2024 Posted February 8, 2024 Another willing victim on the bench tonight, the Hasegawa 1/12 nsr500 from 1989. The quality of the kit looks great so far, I'm just getting sub assemblies together to start with. I have ordered the 'Rothmans' tobacco fill in decals from Europe, hopefully I continue to be impressed by the kit, I have a few more of them to do. Thanks for tuning in again Jim 1
diymirage Posted February 14, 2024 Posted February 14, 2024 (edited) Pretty cool Growing up, one of the "cool kids" had an one of these (but a 50cc) Pretty cool bike but of course, my MTs always took him on the top end (This bike reminded me of that one) Edited February 14, 2024 by diymirage 1
1320 Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 I just realised it's been nearly a year between updates on this one. I'm sometimes a bit slack and life gets in the way. The Rothmans tobacco decals turned up, the engine is mostly done, the wheels are on the way and now I'm getting the tank, fairings and frame ready for paint again. They have already been painted twice and stripped. Hopefully this time! Thanks for looking. Jim 3
Dragline Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Holy Schnickies it's looking great! These Hase kits are as good as their Tamiya counterparts. Watching. 1
