The freedom fighter simca 9 was the first car I had pitted on when I was about 17 for the Nationals at Pomona and Bakersfield also Riverside for 2 years 64-65 this is not a Gasser car it is a AM/SP class car. This car was too valuable to turn into a gasser the owner saved all parts that were cut off the car to return it to stock there's only five of these cars left in the world.

The roadster belong to my brother I went out a couple times with him before it was retired and Yes this is the old Holly Hendrickson roadster that was on the cover of Hot Rod magazine 5/ 1961 the car that took out the timing lights at the end of the quarter mile no matter what we did it would never go straight.
