M W Elky Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 I made this with the first release of the 55 Chevy sedan kit that included all the gasser parts from the nomad kit. The rear wheels were sourced from the amt 33 Willy’s kit , and the front wheels are from the old amt ertl 1970 Camaro. The white wall front tires are amt items from the parts box I got the decals from southern Motorsport hobbies. The paint is good old testors gold enamel topped with wet look clear . I made the headers from solder and aluminum tubing. Until next time thanks for looking, mike 7
Altered Ego Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 MW, this is a well executed representation of a classic race car. As always, great job!
ColonelKrypton Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Nicely done. What's not to like of a '55 Chevy cheers, Graham
papajohn97 Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Cool gasser Mike and great job on those headers! (not an easy thing to scratch-build).
Zippi Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Can't go wrong with a 55 Chevy Gasser. I'm diggin it.

Rattlecan Dan Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 Has a rugged " I been used" look to it. Nice job.
