Stanward VonDiederichs Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 (edited) While working one time at a park at the beach I decided at one point to do some race cars out of wood. First car I did free hand what was hard was making each side look the same as the other. The next one I decided to use templates so that everything was uniform l still have the templates for all the Bonneville race cars the next photo down is the finish car. Smallest car was one that I remember reading in Hot rod magazine about I always thought it was cute while digging through the internet I ran across it in a museum and they were saying that that thing ran on a Mercury outboard motor and broken land speed record now that's funny. And of course I had to do a streamliner motorcycle. I honestly have to say I had fun doing these so much that I ended up making a couple of my nephews little wooden cars for them to play with I was a hit with them the ones I did look like Volkswagens.
