Mike Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 It's complete sans the door mirrors which are presently lost. They were on my workbench the night before. Either I've got invisible cats, or my kids did something with them. At some point I'll find them and put them on, but for now it's complete. Decal work was intense on this one as they weren't pre-cut to conform to the car. It was an enjoyable build with new challenges like cutting the clear styrene for the side windows. It's not a show winner, but a worth-while build of a race car I really love.
B_rad88 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 NICE JOB!!!! dude that vette looks wiecked! nice decals! is there any body that makes that set i would like to get a sheet!
crispy Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Nice work on a labor intensive decal car. The best part of your build is being able to learn something, and this one was decals for you. I'll bet that your next build will be awesome just as this is. I love that Vette. I've got the decals and the SMS kit, so it's nice to see everyone building these. I can hurdle faster this way! LOL Great Job! Chris
Z28Lover Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Amazing decal job.I hardley ever use decals due to the fact that they hate me!!
ismaelg Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Looks like a winner to me! Great job on this one! You are making me considering going back at the workbench.... Thanks,
E St. Kruiser50 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Beautiful job This would look nice on my shelf .
MonoPed Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Nice!! That does look like a tough job to decal, and you pulled it off quite well. Nicely done!
RodneyBad Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Great Looking Bad Boy. paint and decals look Excellent..
roncomatic Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 I concur with everyone else. You've done a great job. The paint and decals look superb. I've got a couple of these Vettes waiting to be built but I'm seriously sweating the decals. And they're not nearly as involved as your build. --ron
