FujimiLover Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Hello. I just started work on my Fujimi Veilside MR2 model which is entirely resin kit. What's the best way for removing body panels? I have to remove the front and rear bumpers, and side skirts in order to install the aftermarket Veilside body kit. I have a very nice sharp exacto hobby-grade knife, but worried it'll skip and gouge wanted areas. Should I invest in a panel-scriber and will that work just as well on resin as plastic? Actually, isn't resin in itselfe softer than plastic? I've done a few small cut-out's on regular plastic models like when I did the headlights for my RX7, but never a full bumper. And some areas of the bumper look complex too!
