Dingo Posted March 27, 2009 Author Posted March 27, 2009 Hey Zuk I gathered by U'r forum name that U really luv the little suzies well so do I and I've been on the hunt for a GTi at the right price here in Oz for ages now but no success, this is because everyone wants them for hotting up. Here's my 2 little suzies just for you and I'll get back to U maybe thru PM with the paper web address for them OK. Sorry they not the best but these where built when I first started out doing cardstock and I enjoy building this forum over plastic because I get most of my models free of the net. Dingo
Nick F40 Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 (edited) Zuk I love your styles, I'm probably the biggest fan of rally here.... Edited March 27, 2009 by Nick F40
Dingo Posted March 28, 2009 Author Posted March 28, 2009 No worries Zuk I will be starting to put all my rally car up on soon, I just have to go thru my Photobucket album to make sure they're all there. Dingo
RodneyBad Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Good looking Cardstock Zuk. Man, I was so hoping it was some form of plastic kit or R/C. Guess I'll need to learn how to do Cardstockin Us Zuk Followers tend to get the short straws, This I know. I have a D.D. Zuk left for Died by Suzuki. 0 (Zero) after-market support. No Turbos, CA Intake, Chips, lift, Dealerships. yes, the one I bought it from no longer sells them. Nah, I'm not Bitter. Much Is it so wrong I want to do this to my D.D. Zuk? Really, I'd do this if I could.

B_rad88 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 do anyone still make any renault r5 turbo 2 rally cars or street cars? plus ANY I MEAN ANY GROUP B RALLY CARS????? those are my biggest intrest right now!!!
Nick F40 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 do anyone still make any renault r5 turbo 2 rally cars or street cars? plus ANY I MEAN ANY GROUP B RALLY CARS????? those are my biggest intrest right now!!! yeah, I think Revell of Germany makes one, I think yellow and white. I want the Phillips red and blue one. I'm with you also, I want to find some but are hard. Tamiya makes the Safari Rally Celica and Starion and I think Audi. Revell of Germany has a couple.
B_rad88 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 what about lancias, also there was a porsche, a ferrari, then there where other renaults, peugoet 205 t16, i would also like classic iconic rally car like old mini coopers, austin healy, citron, etc.
Nick F40 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 what about lancias, also there was a porsche, a ferrari, then there where other renaults, peugoet 205 t16, i would also like classic iconic rally car like old mini coopers, austin healy, citron, etc. Tamiya has most of them. They have racing, stock and both Monte Carlo Minis. Tamiya, Monogram, Gunze Sangyo in 1/24 Airfix, most of them were in 1/32. You can also find Spridget's and MG's. Fujimi and Tamiya has the 037 and Statos both in rally and with the Stratos, HF and Group 44. They have the Munari/Waldegard version. The Porsche 959 Paris Dakar is the one your most likely going to find, but you can easily turn it into the Group B car. The Ferrari 308 you can get the Tamiya stock version, not sure if they made the rally but you can get the wheels form the rally Stratos, paint them gold and put some lights on it and you basically have it. Heller just re issued a R5 Turbo that was in the 1982 Rally World Championship. Renualt also had the Alpine A110 that they ran but that was before Group B, in RAC and Revell of Germany has that one along with Tamiya and Fujimi. The Peugeot, Tamiya, Revell of Germany and maybe Heller, both Group B and 405 Pikes Peak versions. Citroen, there has to be some. I need to get the site again but one of my buddy's on here has a site where they make resin body's and they have the C4 BX. Just go to shows and maybe Ebay, maybe emodelcars but HobbyLink Japan will have most if not all of them.
B_rad88 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 WOW! thanks!!!! i will get lookig into this. thank you!
B_rad88 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 also can't forget these timeless classic rally car: ford lotus cortina mk1, ford rs200, ford escort rs cosworth, audi quattro sport, mg metro 6r4, lancia delta integrale, lotus elan sprint, lancia monte carlo, just to name a few more.
Nick F40 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Your quite welcome and yes, they have them too. If you have any rally questions, I can certainly help you out, right now i'm building a 1984 Audi Quattro Acropolis version.
Dingo Posted March 30, 2009 Author Posted March 30, 2009 Here is my Renault rally car and it is a Tamiya product. Renault R5 Dingo
B_rad88 Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 nice model, did they make the renault r5 turbo 2 maxi rally car?
Dingo Posted March 30, 2009 Author Posted March 30, 2009 Actually Kuztom my R5 was going to be one of the supercar rally ones but I forgot to finish it off as such, and seeing that there are a couple more of these sitting in my LHS I'll go and get one and do the super era car they where monsters back then and some had huge rear wings. Dingo

You ca get resin bodies but they're not cheap. Dingo
Nick F40 Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 The famous Elf Philips version was the winner, I think they have a model but to make one it is pretty easy, just take one of the Maxi 5 turbo kit's and put the lights, wheels, and some of the vents. Yeah resin aren't that cheap but are your best bet.
