satterwhite78 Posted May 9, 2024 Posted May 9, 2024 It was my plan to make a Sizzler version but the Mr. Norm Super Demon seemed to come together easier. It was the choice of color for the Sizzler that was causing the stumbling until I saw the Dodge EL5 Butterscotch. A darker yellow with a tint of brown still made the Mopar High Impart Color Chart ( Plymouth Bahama Yellow). For some unearthly reason I cannot figure why the rims are slightly darker the the body but they do add a nice contrast. A light brown was used as a base while Krylon Farm and Implement spray can Old Equipment Yellow lays on top. A good friend found a resin twin hood scoop and was gracious enough to "loan" it to me in exchange for the keys. 13
Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted May 9, 2024 Posted May 9, 2024 Nice! Last night I was thinking about getting another kit so I could do something similar.
Mike 1017 Posted May 9, 2024 Posted May 9, 2024 Very nice. I am glad to see that people still remember Mr. Norm. (RIP) Mike
espo Posted May 9, 2024 Posted May 9, 2024 The paint color looks great with the black trim. The detailing of the grill catches my eye and looks well done. Like the steel wheel look.
karbuildr Posted May 9, 2024 Posted May 9, 2024 Very well done Demon. I like the color, nice details, and looks great with steelies and caps.
ncbuckeye67 Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 That's awesome! I love the "high impact" Mopar colors.
David G. Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 That is a super nice build! The assembly, paint and decals all look great! David G.
XYHARRY Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 Super clean build there Chuck, really well done. Cheers, David. ??
Oldriginal86 Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 Nicely done. Two things that caught my eye to add to the realism was the partially filled bottle on the inner fender and the reflection of the tailpipe extensions in the bumper. Well built and photographed.
6bblbird Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 Great looking model. The color is not one that most people would think of using but I'm glad that you did. Looks terrific, really stands out. WF
