Thanks for posting this. Just looking at that myself. I’ve been looking for a 362 for a long time.

The grille surround looks too wide and the Peterbilt emblem on the front too big, but those could be fixed. I don’t care for the molded in headlights (why do 3d print guys do that?) but those could be cut out.

Otherwise, yeah it looks good to my eye, but I’m not an expert on the 362. Could use a windshield, but that may not be too difficult to make.

I may send the photos to Tim Ahlborn through FB messenger for him to weigh in on it.

I’ll certainly grab this one if the issues are relatively easy to fix.

I sent it to Tim, the resident Peterbilt expert. Curious to see what he says.

The aud to usd exchange rate certainly makes it a bargain if the issues are minimal.

Tim got right back to me. Great guy.

He said, “That’s a copy of the 362 I made and Bobby Griffen cast 20 years ago. The grille isn’t mine and it’s too thick.  The emblem is wrong and the windshield mask has some bulk added but I recognize my shape errors on the rest of it. Revell of Germany 359 lamps were originally included as separate pieces for it.“

So, he agreed with the errors we noticed. If it’s based on the Bobby Griffen casting, it should be fixable otherwise.

OK that sounds good ,I may just pull the trigger on one this week , Thx Victor !

How much did it cost you if I may ask?

I just ordered one for myself. The exchange rate works well in our favor.

Though the shipping rate from Australia to the US, isn’t cheap, it ran me $70.17 total with shipping.

I figured at that price, I can fix a few issues and make a windshield. I haven’t been able to find a 362 for even close to that price, let alone find one at all, much of the time.

That isn't too bad. I like trucks,  but don't know enough about them to make things correct.  Hopefully someone shows the corrections when they build this.

Received mine in the mail a couple days ago. Packed well, I removed the packing peanuts. I’m pleased overall. Not the finest resin casting/kit, but a good value.IMG_9393.thumb.jpeg.7bf4c5af74bbd7039e365157d1be0c9d.jpeg

IMG_9394.thumb.jpeg.a72883fcc675cdea461f1ed59c1391f0.jpegIt surprisingly came with clear plastic for making the side windows and windshield. Trimming required.

IMG_9401.thumb.jpeg.e55403cf2a58a73fc6945911ba0f2f29.jpegIt comes with two dashes, right or left hand drive. I didn’t realize the right hand drive dash is so different than the left (aside from the obvious) it’s a totally different design. The cab floor is set up as right hand drive, but I can modify that.
IMG_9395.thumb.jpeg.4e2a54be51fdf310a9fd37bad8700c83.jpegIt comes with more separate parts than expected, with step pockets, headlights (won’t be using those) air intakes, Peterbilt emblem, and grille surround (too wide, but I’ll use it as a template for making a correct one). Also included is the visor and bumper.IMG_9400.thumb.jpeg.0753f11447739353bab120d1853f49c9.jpegIMG_9399.thumb.jpeg.d24d460a7e11345d5f7daeb7707e7cc7.jpegIMG_9398.thumb.jpeg.ebaa8fe5a6ddecef59ee4df9a93f40a0.jpegIMG_9397.thumb.jpeg.9d1f931609599a2e8fc0ee29050cbc9d.jpeg

IMG_9402.thumb.jpeg.4943d66fe42def3b92840abb0c3263af.jpegThe cab has a little warpage, but nothing too bad. The recessed headlight areas are not symmetrical, however. That’s probably the most glaring error to me so far. Everything is correctable if you’re willing and able, so again, for the price, I’m satisfied.

If any of you guys have built one yet, or are starting one. What are you guys doing for the windshield? I'm wrapping mine up and the one thing stopping this whole project is the windshield. The 2 curves in the corners are really messing me up and I can't figure anything out. Any suggestions?
