Here' another project that I finally finished. Started with an AMT Vega Kammback funny car body. Hood and upper fenders were lengthened 1/2 inch. Front wheelbase was lengthened 3/8's inch more. Fender fill in parts from Rocking Rodney Rat, thanks man. A whole lot of putty and sanding. Tires, engine, chassis, and interior tin (trimmed to fit) are from an MPC Soapy Sales Challenger FC kit. Wheels and front air dam are from the parts box. Decals are by Best Hobby Decals. Let me know what you think of it.

This came out great I’ve been accumulating parts to build this one for awhile and you have provided me with the inspiration. Who’s decals did you use?

very nice , well done....last time I saw a real Vega with that much smoke trailing it, ...blown head gasket...

For those to young to know Vegas were prone to blown head gaskets. That was the demise of our family Vega in 1976

Thank you, Sir. Decals are by Best Hobby decals/ Jim heller/ Teresawulf. I used the 32nd scale set as the 1/24ths were too large for my 1/25th scale car. They are listed on Ebay:  Don Schumacher's Wonder Wagon 1/32nd Scale Slot Car Waterslide Decals | eBay
