There is *THAT* much size difference between the stock kit part and the photoetched one?!  Makes me wonder which is closer to the correct size. The  plastic one doesn't look half bad.

Made some good progress this weekend.

Created a PCB of the circuit.  Created a new whatever it is called for the top of his head that lights.  Drilled the disc in his chest so I can get some flashing lights in there.  Finally everything is in primer.

The factory parts looked too large to me when comparing movie stills so I went with the PE parts and repurposed the originals.

Progress!  Robby received his final paint today.  Decided to light another part so more drilling and fiber optics mounted to PCB.  One final decision to be made before I can assembly. I need to decide if I want to add a blue led behind the grill.  No problem adding a solid led but a flashing one may not be possible. That is the source of the debate.
