G'day folks, here I have my version of the Revell easy click VW T2 Bus. Paint is Tamiya ts14 black, ts84 metallic gold and ts3 dark yellow for the interior. Built box stock except for wheels, roof mounted antenna, chrome body trim, carpet, exhaust tip and a lower stance. All comments are welcomed and appreciated.

Cheers,

David. ??

Great looking color combination and finish. The dash and interior are well detailed. The wheels or hub caps remind me of the Chevelle SS hub caps, and they look good on this.

Nice one David, the wheels are from the Revell 65 Chevelle ss 396 Z-16. I used them as they look similar to the BRM's on the T2 delivery. Thanks for your kind words, they're very much appreciated.

Being a big fan of the bug, I like what you did with this one, the colors and the wheels give it a more rebel look. I built mine as the box art. Although a click kit it turns out into a really nice model. Good job David.

Thanks Mario, when I start a model I google it and view images for inspiration. This picture was my guide for this model. Screenshot_20231030-204541_Google.jpg.03ceb09e4cd401c8f4f2b6fdbdc96296.jpg

G’day David.

That Kombi looks awesome. Love the stance and colour combo. I’m actually putting the finishing touches on my build of the same kit. I’ll post it on here when it’s done. That’s also a nice collection of VW’s you have there.??

Cheers, Stu.

Thanks Stu, I'll look forward to seeing how yours turns out. I really wanted to use the BRM Wheels, as on the T2 delivery, but settled for a set of Chevelle SS Z-16 wheels. If you want to see my posted builds I tag them all xyharry.

Cheers, David. ????

BRM and the Chevelle wheels are quite close in appearance, l have the Revell Samba splitty in the stash and I’d like to build it with that style of wheel. I’ll certainly check out your posted builds.
Cheers, Stu.
