Herb's Demon is a wrap,, I had to compromise on the front end attitude a little in order to get everything under the hood,,,lol. .Came out ok I guess , I think I'll use that Pro Street Nova tubbed floor pan for Whisnant's Duster too

Overall I think it looks great the wheels look really good. I see what you mean about the slight nose high stance. It might be just the camera angle but the hood scoop looks huge. Nice job.

The scoop was a cast resin piece I had ,,,those scoops were pretty big anyway! lol   image.png.cb7c3084c0f01fae1c5153add8d04323.png

Very nice build, excellent decal work. The car has just dumped the clutch so the front-end will rise considerably - that's my story and I'm sticking to it. May have to try to locate one of these. Saw a couple in a Hobby Lobby down in Matthews, NC, but that is quite a distance from me.

I used the reissue MPC Demon body on the Nova Pro Street kit chassis narrowed Dana 60 from the GTX Pro Street kit and the Hemi was from odds and ends in the parts bin

That came out great Scott! I’m gonna have to buy a couple Pro Street Nova’s for chassis’s. Very clean build !

Thanks Roger,,like I said I should have built up the engine completely first or at least with the intake and carbs on and then used that in the chassis mockup ,,, the front stance looked good to go with just the block in there during fitment

Great job! One of my favorites, Here's a suggestion.Unknown.jpeg.7f68e12d287c6fe76f00d0fba13f8dda.jpeg Pose it like this , and the stance won't matter!?

Hey Walter! Lol,,,I was thinking about that !

That was the first race that I ever attended at E-Town. I remember that wheelstand vividly!

From what I recall Herb saying is one of the wheelie bars broke and Buddy Martin made the call to take them both off!

Yep, that’s exactly what happened! It was spectacular!

Hey Scott, Really nice build on this one..I'm have one on bench right now I'm building..It's  the Billy the Kid demon..I had a 72 from Competition Resins but it was warped as hell..So when this 71 Demon kit came out, I'm using it..That Hemi in yours looks freakin crazy, but accurate because they used 2 spark plug per cylinder as McCandless said in his YouTube video..Another great build my friend...Maurice
