I am starting to build the Gas Ronda Mustang A/FX. From the pictures the paint is some sort of orange. Could this color be a custom mix by the painter at the Russ Davis body shop?

No, the color is Ford Poppy Red, also known as Calypso Coral and Competition Orange. The Ford paint code is M1730.

The Gas Ronda Mustangs are some of my favorite vintage drag race cars and Russ Davis Ford is fairly local to where I grew up. I'd love to follow your build progress on WIP and can't wait to see this project finished.
