My thoughts exactly! Figured they may have represented an, unfamiliar to me, aftermrket set or some odd thing like that. I figured there are a lot of guys on here that are knowledgeable of the history of the old AMT kits that might be able to fill me in?

Just a thought. Weren't there some fictitious models issued in the '60's and '70's based on some of the GM "personal luxury cars" of the era?  Could this be a valve cover from one of those models?

Surely you've heard about the Deelmaer Water-Engine option?

It was killed by the oil companies, and every trace of its existence was removed...except, apparently, for this one set of 1/25 scale valve covers.

And if you play the valve cover backwards, it says "eat your dog".

Cue X-Files music.

Sounds like the subject of one of those special YooToob videos with the computer-voice narration that goes on and on and on and on and on and on with a nonsensical "secret" story and random photos that don't go with anything.
