Jim N
Here is my 2016 championship winning car driven by Jimmie Johnson. Johnson has been my favorite driver since entering the Cup Series. So, this one is long overdue. It is incredible how quickly Father Time caught up with him as he won only 2 more races after securing the seventh title. Now he just turns laps, but for 10 years, the 48 team was on top of it. The model is a Revell Quick Snap. I have accumulated a number of these, and they are fun little kits to build. The decals are Powerslide. An annoyance was there were not hood pin decals with this sheet. The paint is Rustoleum Cobalt Metallic Blue. The spoiler is Krylon Yellow over a gray primer. The side panels are applied using Mark J's method and the gloss is Quick Shine applied with a brush as recommended by Pierre Rivard. The downside of the build are the exhaust pipes. With the modification, there was not a lot of plastic to work with, and it brings down the overall quality of the build. Thank you for looking.

bobss396
I like it a bunch. I have a Dale Jr, snap kit in the works, I'm going 90% per what is in the box. I need a few more of these. I like the Powerslide line of decals.

MarkJ
Excellent build Jim. I still have some of those snap kits left to do. There at the end, Hobby Lobby was selling them for less than 10 bucks a kit, so I snapped up every one that was left at the store I go to. Again, you improved the model immensely with your mods to correct the stance and the sides. Paint work and decals are top notch as well.
