Just cracked this kit open the other day and been working on the engine.  Very nice looking kit.

Can't wait to see your version of this one, picked one up myself the other day.

Thank's man.  I'm not changing this one much.

I'm glad that I picked up the Gasser version when it first came out...??

That 57 Ford Gasser Wagon would be a pretty kewl  build.  I have the 57 Ford Sedan Gasser version.

This should be a treat! Surf wagon?

Does this version also include the parts for the T-Bird supercharger option? Those pieces were in earlier kits (I've got the 2'n1 with the police parts), but weren't mentioned in the instructions.

Hey DJ.  This kit does have the option to build the Supercharge version.  I doing the custom version with the 2 4 barrel setup.

So glad too see you building a long roof.  Looking forward too see what you do with it..

That's Carl.  Not going to change much on this one.

Finally got around to working on this one.  I got the engine pretty much done and all that is left is a little detail work.  I had to change the air cleaner to a smaller diameter so I could get the water hose on.  The front suspension has been installed and the chassis paint a semi gloss black.

Nice detailing on the engine Bob.?

Thanks Greg.  It's been a while since I checked this thread.  I was concentrating on finishing up my 55 Ford Pickup.

Ok fellows, I'm back on this one now.  This morning I'm just playing catch up and trying to figure out just where I left off at.  I do have the engine finished up and mounted in the chassis.  I need to do a lot of trial fitting and then start cleaning up the body so I can get it in primer.  This will be a two tone so it's been a couple years since I've did one.

Thank's.  Yup, seems to be pretty nice so far.

Not a whole lot going on with this build fellows.  I did a mock-up just to see how things are going.  The wheel backs are pinned to the chassis so the wheels are just setting in place for now.  I'm looking at the box art and the kit trying to decide how I'm going to mask off the area around the headlights for the two tone paint.

Airbrush Vallejo Air and brush paint over the lights ? I think that with clear coat over it is not possible to see a difference provided that you put enough paint on the body so that the color becomes solid.
Vallejo Air is good to brush paint which I have not succeeded with, for example, Tamiya.

For jobs like this I use Liquid Mask. Any hobby shop dealing with RC cars should have it and it is available online. Amazon can probably have it at your door within 24 hrs.

You could try a thin roll of Blu Tack, or Silly Putty...

Thanks for the info.

I absolutely love two-tone on these wagons, but they do have some funny break lines for the paint, especially at the rear.

Nice to see this one back in action!
