jlucky
Greetings all knowing ones! I'm looking to build the purple Modello Fiat altered and have everything except the engine. It needs a supercharged 427 Chevy. Preferably one that already has the transmission removed for racing. What's the best kit to pilfer this from? Any help would be appreciated. 1930fordpickup
Maybe check the 3d printers for what you are looking for. Great detail with these engines.
stavanzer
AMT '37 Chevy Coupe has one. The Blower Hat is garbage, but the rest of the Engine is nice. Monograms, 1/24 '39 Chevy Sedan, has a really sharp blown 427. The AMT Super Boss Chevelle has one. Here is the kit now.
RancheroSteve
Speed City Resin makes a good one, but it's currently out of stock: https://www.speedcityresin.com/PartsPageEngine.html I have one set aside for the Mondello Fiat I plan to build someday. You may beat me to it - good luck!
fiatboy
I have the 427 out of the '37 Chevy coupe, but I would like to keep the nice valve covers. Let me know what you think.
Tim W. SoCal
Take a look at the AMT '63 Corvette Stingray https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/amt-instructions/automotive-cars--pi/chevrolet/1961-1970/amt-63-corvette-sti1/steps-1.html#media Edited August 22 by Tim W. Force
Any blown big block Chevy should do, all 396 to 454 engines looks the same on the outside.
