crazyjim Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 Finally finished one. This is my 1957 Chrysler that was painted with Hoklapis blue and then HOK stratto blue fogged on the lower portion of the body. Front & rear rolled pans. Original taillights area was filled in and lenses from the parts box glued in. Interior has front bucket seatrs with a console between them. The side trim was sanded off and a piece of Evergreen strip glued on. Wheels are from the parts box. 6 Quote
Falcon Ranchero Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 Really like this; coincidentally, I painted my '61 Galaxie model the same colour scheme. Quote
crazyjim Posted September 5, 2024 Author Posted September 5, 2024 Thank you Nathan. Good color combination. 1 Quote

bisc63 Posted September 5, 2024 Posted September 5, 2024 Nice mild custom, and that blue is gorgeous! Perfect show-car flake. Well done! Quote

70 Sting Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Tasteful mods. Excellent chrome. And that last photo! ? Quote
espo Posted September 6, 2024 Posted September 6, 2024 Great looking dark blue color and finish. Started on this same model this week. What did you use for the grill? I had robbed the factory 2x4 setup for another project and flopping around for a replacement, what did you use? Quote
crazyjim Posted September 6, 2024 Author Posted September 6, 2024 Thank you David. I have a small sheet of mesh screen that I acquired years ago from somewhere. I used the 2x4 manifold & carbs from the kit and air filter from the parts bin. 1 Quote
