Monogram 55 Ford F100 Glass

Is it too much of a curve to make one out of acetate? I have the kit and some acetate I've used before, but only for a straight, flat window (I may try myself). I wouldn't give up on building it just yet, it's too good of a kit. Try making each piece separately. Vent windows & back glass should be pretty easy, and the windshield shouldn't be too bad just by itself.

David, I have some glass from one of those F100 kits but I’m not sure if it’s the AMT or Monogram kit. I don’t wanna get your hopes up but I’ll take a look this afternoon and see if I can determine if it’s what you seek.  I’ll write back here this evening.- Mark

Thank you Mark. From what I can tell it all one piece. Windshield, vent windows and back window. And Head lights

I’m sorry for taking longer than attended  to take a look at my stash but I did an unfortunately what I have found is this…… 2 1/2 sets of MPC 1/25 F100 hundred glass and no 1/24 glass.
I had this glass in a box of junk parts I got from a friend and unfortunately, they are both 1/25 scale. I couldn’t remember what scale until I looked..
I’m sorry, my friend. I would’ve been happy to help you if I had it.  I am  sure someone else on here will step up….we have some great people on this cool site.   I will ask the guys in my club.  Good luck brother.- Mark

I truly appreciate you looking. I know this is a great Forum. I tell every builder I meet about it. Surprising how many never heard of Model Car Magazine Forum before. But they do now. 🙂 Again. Thank you Mark.

David,

Let me take a look. I may have it. If I don't, and you're not in a big hurry, I have a model show to go to on the 5th. I can look there.

Later-

Thank you Tom. I do have some custom stuff from a few kits to trade. AMT 1962. 1963 Mercury. 1964 Dodge.

David,

I spent a lot of time at the model show looking for your glass and some 50 Chevy pickup parts I needed and came up bust on all of them. Sorry. I wish I could have found at least one thing but I didn't.

Thank you Tom. It's greatly appreciated. I don't have anything for a 50 Chevy pickup. Now if you were looking for 70 or 72. I have a few. 🙂
