Ken Car-Fanatic Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 Just wanted to say Hello, I started looking at & reading these forums a while back & decided I should officially join in! I started out building model cars when I was young & actually my first real job was working for a company in Michigan called Sport-Craft (sadly not around anymore) & I built model cars for other people. They where mostly 1/43 scale Starter or Provence Moulage resin kits, I preferred to build 1/24 & 1/25 scale for myself but haven't done much over the last 20 years & like many others, I'm pushing to get back to doing more of it again. I thought the art of model building had almost started to vanish in the U.S. but I'm happy to see so many people still doing it & enjoying it! Thought I might have some info to offer, but after reading these forums, it seems others know more than me & are doing stuff that I never would've thought possible! I'm very impressed & hopefully will post some stuff that I've done soon. Glad to be here!

Bainford Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 Welcome to the forum, Ken. It's a great place to get back into model building. Lots of inspiration and helpful people. Enjoy.
Ken Car-Fanatic Posted October 10, 2024 Author Posted October 10, 2024 Hello to all & thanks. On 10/7/2024 at 9:44 AM, Zen said: Welcome, what part of MI are you from? I from the mid-Michigan (Lansing) area in the lower peninsula. I never really stopped building, but just did very little & took years off between builds. I did build/paint some 1/32 scale slot cars for some freinds to keep doing something. Played around with printing my own decals on these slot cars for other people.
