NitroMarty Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 (edited) Was quite surprised to find this at my local Farm & Fleet store. Ford trucks 42-47, sometimes referred to as jailbar Fords because of the vertical bar design of their grilles, have been mostly ignored in 1/24 or 1/25 scale. ( I recall one of the "mints" doing one, but even then they were a bit hard to find and a pricier than l like to pay for something I plan to chop up.) This one is a Motor Max piece and was priced at $13 on sale. It's boxed as a 42- 47, but the larger Ford script on the hood sides makes it a 46/47. (42/45 had smaller separate diecast scripts.) stitchdup Posted October 17, 2024 Posted October 17, 2024 some of the motormax diecasts are much nicer than their price would suggest. i recently got a mid 30s ford pick up to use the fenders on a 35 hotrod and it might be too nice for that
