rrb124@sbcglobal.net Posted October 20, 2024 Posted October 20, 2024 The original Buzz Bomb. ABARTH! Thanks for showing. Great details! Quote
PatW Posted October 20, 2024 Author Posted October 20, 2024 Thanks guys. We have both petrol and EV nearby! Quote
Bainford Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 Fine looking Fiat, Pat. Nice work on this one. Cheers. Quote
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Nice work. I love those little buggers.  Quote
Andrew McD Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I've got one of these on the way. I enjoy unique quirky cars. You've done a great job. Any issues with the kit that I should be aware of? Quote
Bugatti Fan Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 Nice model Pat ! Reminds me I will have to get Tamiya's standard Fiat 500 kit and build a model of one I used to own in the early eighties now it has been re released. Quote
PatW Posted October 30, 2024 Author Posted October 30, 2024 Thanks guys. It's a great kit with no issues. It's also interesting that within a mile of here we have both a basic Fiat 500 petrol, that a young lady is learning to drive in, and in the same house her mother who is teaching her has a deluxe EV version with a sun roof and in two tone paint and flash alloys ala ABARTH! Also a few other both basic and Abarth petrol powered and EV's in the town! Quote
MarkJ Posted October 31, 2024 Posted October 31, 2024 Pat, that sure is a cute little bugger. There are tons of those running around here. I never thought they might be used to race. That must be a scary proposition. Seems like if it got over it would roll like a basketball for a mile before it stopped. Excellent build on this one for sure. Quote
PatW Posted October 31, 2024 Author Posted October 31, 2024 Cheers Mark, absolutely great to race! As a retired race/rally marshall I've seen cars of this size and make doing both. The driver need a great deal of skill to drive one safely, and very fast! Quote
