Second build of the 1/25 scale Revell '65 Impala (Foose kit). Exterior color is  Dupli-color Chrysler Dark Garnet Red Pearl a color similar to Madeira Maroon offered between '65-'67.  Rust-Oleum for the clear. This time around I foiled the front hood and rear panel emblems prior to applying the supplied decals. It never occurred to me to first foil those emblems on my first build.

Hi Tom, beautiful build!!! On first glance looks almost like the real thing, respect! The color and the shine match very well with this Impala. Come to BMF and decals, for quite a while now I do that work BEFORE the last clear coat. Above all, nothing can peel off any more by mistake while handling the model.

That's a looker right there Tom.  That Chrysler Dark Garnet Red Pearl looks Great and looks Fantastic for this year and body style.  Nicely done.

Wow, that's really nice. Like the color, may have to find something to put it on myself. From what I can see, the interior logs nicely detailed. Great build, very convincing.

Very nicely done! '65 Impala is a very beautiful car and you definitely did it a justice. Excellent work overall and a perfect color choice too.

Beautiful looking paint color and finish. The chrome body trim is all cleanly done. The interior looks great. I like the showroom style look. This was the last year for this OEM size narrow white wall tires on the Impala and the '66's had the thin pinstripe style white walls.
