I made a quick mock up

That is always tempting at this point.  Ken the toolboxes behind the cab is a nice touch.

I fabbed up some engine mounts and the chassis is about ready for paint. going to test colors on spoons first before spraying the entire chassis. also been working on the fuel tanks.

Looks good.
I have often wondered why Kenworth decided to put the battery box on the passenger side on the K100C's when most of the engines have the starter on the drivers side, likewise with the air cleaner wich are on the drivers side and most of the inline 6 engines have the turbo on the passenger side...so you have to cross over the battery leads and the intake tube on them.
The W900 has the battery box on the drivers side under the door so it's more direct and the K100E's also have it on the drivers side.
It doesn't matter but one can wonder why.

sprayed a test spoon base black with custom metallic green over it. I need to pick up more black paint at the store. I will need enough to do the chassis and cab.

That’s beautiful Ken. The black base brings the depth out of the green. Of course Green is my favorite color.

It’s hard for my me too decide on that one Ken I like the decade before these it’s hard to choose. But I know one thing anything after 1990 my likeness for trucks decreases drastically for sure. These new trucks to me is a Pickup on steroids PACCAR include.

Nice updates Ken the frame turned out very nice the green looks good and with that green and yellow cab it really will look good. The engine details look great that your adding are a nice touch. Thanks for sharing.
