Good job with the hinges - you have them tucked in very neatly.  Sure will add to your overall detailing by being able to see your interior detail better!

thank you Brian!

You been building as long as my brother Bill he will be 64 this year. I’ve been building since I was around 10 years old. Start building 1/25 trucks in 1984 I’m 56. I’ve always enjoyed you work on here for years and glad you still post your builds.

thanks Lee, that's nice to hear. don't build many trucks anymore as I am out of shelf space. model cars fit back in their boxes.

small update. I got the exhaust done up to the stacks. 3 cuts were made to the kit supplied piece and an offset was changed. it is now ready for paint. a quick mock up for photos of it and the intake piping. still waiting on parts and stripes in the mail. also found some spot lights in the spares box for the frame mounted tool boxes.

Great work on the exhaust and intake piping, Ken - a challenge to get all those sections of pipe to place nice together!

Yes they do Ken I have several builds and built in the boxes  myself. One thing about cars too is there’s a nice selection out there now.

Mock up looks great Ken. This is going to be a beautiful truck to be proud of for sure.  Bill told me today he’s waiting for his Truck Decals in the mail too the winter storm we had here in Missouri has slowed everything down.

started on the stacks yesterday. paint on elbows is bronze with dull coat. mufflers are photo etched metal and outlets are metal duct seal tape. one done and one to go. thanks everyone for your interest in this build.

Yes those would be nice Ken. I’m going build some more trucks till I run out of room 😂. Then maybe cars and pickups.

Did you decals arrived yet?  We had ice snow now more snow that’s holding up the mail.

update, I got the fuel tanks mounted along with the stacks and all piping done. radiator hoses from sour krauts have been installed as well as the shifter and linkage. not crazy about the chrome wheels. I'll tackle them next.

I agree, they are not the best looking wheels out there.
The rears look like the old style lock ring wheels as the "ditch" in the middle of the rim wich is there to be able to mount the tires on the real tubeless style wheels is missing, and I'm not too keen on the fronts either.

just not happy with the finish on the wheels. they look too much like chrome plastic.
