majel Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Finally got the Charger completed! This is the 1/16th Petty Charger kit from MPC painted to represent the Neil Bonnett entry in the 1977 Firecracker 400. The model is built box stock with nothing added from the aftermarket. Some of the build was posted in the WIP section so I won't bore you with the details. The car went together fairly well, the fit of most of the parts was pretty good, there was just a ton of flash and sink marks that had to be dealt with. Overall I'm happy with the results and was really pleased with the Powerslide decals. If anyone needs a complete set of the Petty decals included in the kit for this model I would be happy to send them to you. 7

bobss396 Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Very nice, I should try a 1/16 kit. I saw one a local guy did of the Bobby Isaac car. 1

Rattlecan Dan Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Great-looking build. Excellent application of the rubber and grime.
GMasterG Posted Wednesday at 12:17 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:17 AM I really like the way that you've weathered this car - very authentic and very well done. What did you use?
