Subaru 360, the 1964 IT winner kit by Hasegawa

Hello guys, I wonder if resin parts can shrinks so much as the parts in the Hasegawa kit from 2017? They don't fit at all! The two hoods are to small, much too small and Hasegawa says the resin shrinks so much during the years. Did anyone buy the kit 2017 and then the parts was ok? Sorry to say but then the kits must have wide gaps now.

I have the 1997 issue version and it has maize coloured resin parts and that shrunk a little bit, not nearly as much as yours.
