Tommy,  there is a sticky thread dedicated to the Future.  Looking at the last page or so of posts in there should give you some ideas. Why reinvent the thread?

Because all of the posts I’ve seen are from 2008; I’m looking for a suitable replacement.

Tommy, yes the topic was started in 2008, but have you looked at the last page of the posts? Latest posts are from December 2024 (just few days ago).  That is why I when I pointed you to that thread I specifically stated "Looking at the last page or so of posts in there should give you some ideas. "

So to answer you original question Tom Quick Shine will do the trick.

True (at least in USA), but give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man To Fish (look through the forum for answers, even in very old threads), and You Feed Him (information) for a Lifetime. :D  Instant gratification is so overrated Rick.

If the question was how to navigate the boat I would have answered that question too.

Good to know, but this was not about boat navigation Rick. It was about providing a pointer to some helpful information which includes the answer the OP was looking for).

I didn’t see any questions about providing a pointer. We all have our own ways of communicating. I did not critique your method and I’d appreciate you not critiquing mine. Let the OP decide what information to use.

Hi Tommy, facing the same situation as your's I have converted my final decal seal coat from Future to Quick Shine about 2 years ago and I like it very much. Even easier to brush on than Future. Warning: it is not good over clear parts so I save what little I have left of Future for that.

These two have been sealed with Quick Shine

I’ve picked up a bottle but haven’t tried it yet; have enough Future to last through a couple of more builds.
