Modlbldr Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 Been working on a few projects lately. A Flintstone 53 Ford Country Squire, a resin 41 Plymouth Sedan Delivery, and a pickup from several different kits. Just doing things on whichever I feel at the moment. I actually have some primer sprayed on the pickup. I taped off the 53 Ford yesterday to paint the woodgrain. Unfortunately, the tape pulled some of the body paint off. Oh well, easy enough fix. Later- 1
Zippi Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 Nice projects going on. I'm liking what I see Tom. 1
espo Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 I like the body design on the pickup. Getting most model type paints to stick on a resin body can be a challenge. An automotive type of primer, think duplicator for example, seems to work fairly well. 1

Thanks! Yeah, that's why I didn't get worried about it. I've already brushed on some primer and a couple of coats of paint. I'll give it a few days to harden and then I'll sand it down and see where I'm at. Later-
Sam I Am Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Lots of work going on Tom. The Plymouth is my favorite one of the three. 1
Modlbldr Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 Still plugging along focusing mainly on the 41 Plymouth. Havent had much serious build time lately. Been working on the chassis and interior of the Plymouth. I have the ride height set. Those big wheels really make the body look short. Later-
