Well....after over 10 weeks waiting for the decals from STS Scale Model Decals I was finally able complete this one.  I was not pleased with the quality of the decals and their lack of support and will not order from them again.  I decided to modify this one and get those Big ole meats tucked up inside the fenders.  This also allowed me to get the stance I was going for.  Paint is Tamiya TS-92 Metalic Orange and it was cleared with Splash Paints 2K clear.  Wheels & tires are from the parts box and the engine came from the Revell 1929 Model A Roadster kit.  Everything underneath in the rear had to be narrowed to get the Big ole slicks to fit.  The front end was also modified to get the stance I was going for.  Very pleased with how it came out.  Time to move on.

Great looking gasser! Love the color and the mods you made to fit those slicks in there!

Thanks Steve.  It took a lot to get those Big ole meats under there.

Fantastic Ford!  I looked through your WIP and love the mods you did, nice work on them.  I have to remember that Metallic Orange over Silver Leaf, looks great.

Very nice job on the build.  Sorry to hear about the problems with the decals.  I do like the gold effect in the lettering on the door they did.  I did some research on the real car when I made up the decals I did, and I can see some things they they got wrong.  The finished model does look nice though.

Well, it's water under the bridge now and I won't be ordering from them again.  I was really pleased with how the paint turned out with the Silver Leaf base coat.  Thanks for the nice words dude.

I tried to PM you, but it says you're not accepting messages.  Anyways, I wanted to let you know if you are interested in getting one of the decal sheets I did of this car to correct the problems you had, just let me know.  I know you might just be done with it, but if I can help just let me know.

Sorry about that.  I have cleaned out my PM box.  It was maxed out.  I appreciate the offer man but as you can see, it is completed.
