I'm having difficulty installing the hemi in my Salvino jr Charger kit. I've tried installing the engine with the headers and again trying without the headers and either way I'm unable to install the engine because the frame interferes with the headers. Any advice will be greatly appreciated

I just did a search on this site for the Salvino Charger and in a few builds that showed up, no one mentioned it. I haven't started putting mine together yet, so I am not much help. If you don't get any advice here, you might try Short Track Models.com. They have several Nascar builders on there.

Wasn't much help, really thought someone would have an answer for you.

Yeah me too. I even contacted Salvino jr and he told me to install the engine and headers before installing the U bar which makes no sense because there is little to no clearance between the headers and frame. I've watched every Charger video on YouTube and not one mentions the problem.

But on my first Charger kit I used hemi headers from a Revell kit and there was no problem.

I built the Salvinos 71 Charger kit ( not sure if this is the one you are building)  and had no problems with the headers. I think there were 2 sets of headers, make sure you are using the right set.

I'm thinking that is the problem and I will give it a try. Thank you
