I only got a few photos. The theme for the contest was big scale.
I like this sidecar rig. The builder pieced it together from other, unknown kits. I think that is pretty cool.
The Protar racing sidecar is pretty cool, too.

The old Esci/Aurora/a couple of others…1/9 scale German WWII BMW sidecar rig with aftermarket rider, dog, and a few accessories. The whole aftermarket set is called “Ketten Hund” or Chain Dog. The dog is wearing a chain like a necklace, so I guess that’s where the name came from. It’s a very nice resin set.

1/8 scale Big T with modifications. The blower is from a parts pack. Does anyone know if was front mount in the parts pack, or was it modified for this application?

A couple of really nice 1/24 low riders. Beautiful paint. Cool motorcycle, too.

“An act of mercy” WWI diorama of a French soldier rescuing a German soldier from quicksand in a shell crater. I heard about this on a podcast. It’s based on a photo of a real situation like this.

I thought this ancient Greek battleship was cool, too. It’s an injection molded kit. I may look for one of these some day.

Lee, thank you for posting these wonderful pictures. I have long wanted that Protar  BMW 500 motorcycle kit with the side car, but the ones I have found online are quite expensive to say nothing of the fact that if I built one, it wouldn’t come out anywhere near as nice as this!  This is the first time I’ve seen one finished.
And again, thanks for posting the nice photos my friend. -Mark

Lee, as far as I know the Potvin crank driven blower is from a Lindberg kit….the Exterminator Dragster.  I’m not saying it was never offered in a parts pack. I’m not arguing that point but as far as I know it can be found in that kit. The kit shows a dragster with twin engines and they have the typical Roots belt drive superchargers up on top of the manifold. But as far as I know somebody on this very forum mention that the kit contains extra parts, including the front mount superchargers in the kit. I hope this helps.

Thank you for the information. I’ll have to look for that Lindberg kit.
