Charger Funny Car Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Loved the body in this kit but tires, headers & blower scoop were not of proper scale. Came up with the answers from my parts box. Paint job was faulty so I started experimenting with rubbing car wax in spots which created lighter tones. Mistake turned into a blessing! 8 1
M W Elky Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I really like that blue paint and fully agree with you on the clumsy header assembly. Mine is still on the shelf without the headers
MAGIC MUFFLER Posted January 18 Posted January 18 IVO would be proud of this model!!! You did a beautiful job putting this together. I really like this one. I worked with IVO for years on his cars (4 eng - 2 eng - T-bucket etc) and he loved to tell many stories when he was sitting there with you. NOTE: - One of the first times I've seen "Amos Satterlee" decal on a model. Amos built the motor (392 Chrysler Hemi) for my Blown Fuel Altered - MAGIC MUFFLER FIAT. Amos sadly passed away some time back and was referred to as "Famous Amos" since he built so many World Championship motors from Dragsters to Drag Boats. He's legendary! Again, great job! 1

Thank you sooo much for your reply! It's an honor to hear from you. I grew up down the road from OCIR. My first race was watching a match race between Gas Rhonda & Dee Keaton's Cougar. I was caught, hook, line & sinker. Big fan of your Fiat!!! Got some more diggers on the way.
