I have used up the last molecule of Testors Aluminum Plate. I have plenty of Aluminum bottled paint. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i like the plasticote aluminium. But i use c1 metaliser on it for a polished look. if you spray it fairly light you can get a decent looking finish but its by no means the only one i use though it is the only one i spray

Aluminum paint is subjective, each manufacturer has their own version: cast aluminum, bright aluminum, brushed aluminum, polished aluminum, dull aluminum. My choice for spray cans is Rustoleum Bright Aluminum and Krylon Dull Aluminum. Been modeling for 64 years and neither has let me down.

I have used the "chrome" Short Cuts Craft Enamel that's sold at Michael's & Hobby Lobby before. It's not a metallic, but a good-looking satin silver. I stripped the chrome from the fuel tanks on a semi-truck, and was quite pleased with the look.
