Mothersworry Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) Built this one to try out the Alclad candy red paint...not an accurate replica but I had some fun with it. Vintage Johan kit, made a few changes...cut open the rear window, flush fitting windshield and rear window made from clear sheet plastic, rear spoiler blended into body sides, fabricated spoiler extensions, hemi engine and abuncha other stuff. All metal finishes are Alclad. Edited January 20 by Mothersworry 9 1
Rattlecan Dan Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Definitely deserves a double "WOW". Beautiful attention to detail and great paint and decal work. Super build!
Chris in Berwyn Posted January 11 Posted January 11 That looks great! I enjoyed building mine except for assembling the roll cage - even CA glue didn’t help a lot. Congrats!

dragcarz Posted January 12 Posted January 12 That was probably the most accurate funny car kit produced in the early 70s, and it’s really overlooked a lot. You did an amazing job! Just Beautiful! Super Clean build!
