kpnuts Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Hi all been away for a while (sorry got lured away by my art) but I'm back now made a start on this one bit disappointed it's not a full engine in this kit and since I'm used to 1/8 or 1/12 this seems tiny, anyway here is where I'm at. 2
lordairgtar Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Interesting way of painting still on the sprue. Will the attachment points remain hidden when assembled? It would be easier for me to paint in this way.
kpnuts Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 Generally I just add a little dab of paint if it does show not been a problem before(although generally I do 1/8 or 1/12 scale kits)

Too bad about the non engine. Someone makes a resin engine kit online that is really detailed. I'm sorry, I do not recall who made it. I have one somewhere, but it's buried in the stash. Look at what is sitting inside of my 24ft Lark trailer. 1

dwc43 Posted January 17 Posted January 17 Looking good. I see it has the Daytona window in it too. Don't see that too often. As for mine, I hope to do some work on it late summer. I have 6 acres, and the shop building is close to completion, and I want to start working on a home there as well. I've been collecting parts for the car and hope I can work on it this summer after some other things fall into place. I can't wait to try it out.
kpnuts Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 Hi all I wish I hadn't started this yet as we will be getting the actual car in our workshop in July (our boss has the honour of driving it atLe Mans) 1
