Silvercreeker Posted January 22 Posted January 22 First build of the year is progressing along. Revell 1957 Gasser Wagon. Frame and motor done. Paint ready for wet sanding after a few days in the dehydrator. Progress is progress. Enjoy. 7 1
TransAmMike Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Gonna be cool Scott. If I maty ask, what paint is the red oxide on the chassis? 1
Silvercreeker Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 (edited) Underside is Krylon Red Oxide Primer and its right from the spray can. Just warm the can and it does lay down well. The frame, accents and fading are Tamiya flat black through the air brush. Edited January 22 by Silvercreeker

Steamboat Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Nice. Very clean so far. It's going to be a good one. 1
Zippi Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Nice looking 57 Ford Gasser Scott. Great looking color combo. 1

All I needed was a piece of .010 styrene on the front lip of the engine bay and it fits perfect. Drag City Casting's products are super nice. 1
krassandbernie Posted January 23 Posted January 23 And here I was thinking you got one of the last teardrop hoods FOR the Revell kits that I offered! LOL! Great job! Where did the wheels come from? Were they from this kit? 1
espo Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Fords always look best with the "Teardrop Hood Scoop". Like the chassis detailing and paint colors used. 1
