I'm going to do a few small builds while I try to decide my next big project (most likely the GSMT Brockway 361 which is on order).I got this Revell 80 Ramcharger at last years NNL East,,I was going to put my 5.9 Cummins in it but have other plans for that engine. This will be an out of the box build except I'm building it as a 74 Plymouth Trail Duster with a 3D print grille/hood and emblems .I shaved off all the Ramcharger trim and badges and got the body painted over the weekend .I used some Duplicolor rattle can touchup paint from the 90's I have a bunch of colors left from that period when I was building,,all new,,still good! . Tomorrow I have to take a new truck up to Binghampton,N.Y. ,,,looks like the weather will be ok .

I used to work for Chrysler  and had a '74 Trail Duster as a company "car".  The unique thing about the '74's was that there was not upper door frame on the door.  For those Trail Dusters and Ramchargers equipped with the optional hard top, the door frames were actually attached to the roof. The problem with that turned out to be lots of water leaks at the "A" post-to-door frame joint, and at the upper door frame-to-door joint.  This was corrected for '75 and later model years where to doors were from the D-series pickups with better weatherstripping around the entire door.

FWI The product planners thought that customers that got the convertible topS would not like the upper metal door frame when the top was down or removed.  Actual use proved them wrong.  HaHa!

I'm digging this. Nice bird bath hood. Can't wait to see the '74 grille.

I first built this kit back in the "High Roller" days, with the Ground Hawg tires! I never understood Monogram putting a sunroof in the removable top, though.

Neat Build,Scott.

I really like your Tu-Tone Choices.

Two Questions.

1. Where did you source the Grill and Hood.

2. What Wheels/Tires are you planning?

Thanks, Alan

My first real new car was a 1976 Ramcharger. Paid for it with wage and hour reward. Was interesting purchase as sitting with dealer and choosing options from the list starting out with the 3 on the tree, 2wd, one seat, no roof, no soft top. Ended up with what I wanted except 76 was the only year they did not offer a 4 speed on the floor so I went automatic. Speaking of the roof; the dealer next year offered even trade for a 77 but only problem was frame was twisted and roof would not line up and seal. Interesting project and will waiting to see finish.

I love that this was an option.

When I read your initial post, I thought you were printing them yourself. Are those parts from Few Sprues Loose on eBay?
