Mustang II Cobra II conversion parts?

Is anyone making the parts necessary to make a 1977 Mustang II kit into a Cobra II kit? I think someone used to make the conversion parts in resin. I can't see myself paying $400-500 for a Mustang II Cobra II kit. I don't love the car that much.

Kevin Lutz was at one time so with the reissues kit coming out it make increase the interest.  If not probably one of 3D casters may take advantage of the opportunity.

This kit will get you most of the way there and can be found much cheaper if you keep an eye out for it. The main part thats missing from this version is the hood scoop but it doesn't look too complicated to make from a thick chunk of plastic. It's much better than the AMT kit that's being reissued now.

There is currently only one listed on eBay, open box and shipped it would be $150.00. That is a bit more than I want to pay for a couple of parts.  Hopefully one will show up lower or I can find the parts I need.

Keep an eye out and you should find one cheaper. I try to search once a week or so for things I'm looking for to find one's listed for lower prices.

At one time I think Missing Link sold Cobra II conversion, maybe he can still cast it!
