I have always wanted to make a garage diorama, so much that me and a friend bought the fujimi kit back in early ‘00s. A while back I bought a backdrop from Scale production and now when working on my MB I wanted to take a photo in the backdrop but it felt strange to just put it on the ground so I started by making the lift and some other equipment. And now I have started I will continue😁

I even scarped a bike together from parts in my PB just to have some thing in the background.

Got a F1 visit in the garage. Ralph Schumacher’s Jordan 197 from 1997 and Max Verstapen’s RB19. And man the RB19 is huge when comparing it to the old gen car.IMG_5670.jpeg.54537e84050cdae425234305e7c5bd6f.jpegIMG_5671.jpeg.d7abd66ad01ecd20f7ba0f66449fd3d4.jpegIMG_5672.jpeg.35aba667efb0bef755a0bef4f016a522.jpegIMG_5673.jpeg.768e7a1ee90ecc33441924c9a8b1e20b.jpeg

That's a really cool diorama! The trick with these is to get enough detail worked in without having so much that it draws attention away from the subject. It seems that you've hit the sweet spot.

Nicely done!

Thanks every one.

i have felt that this display was a bit small for what I need so I went ahead and made some new brick wall backdrops that I printed on the A3 printer and then I bought a thick cardboard same as architects use I guess, and then made this garage setup.

I Did some mods to make it look more real when taking photos, I made a piece of roof to give some shadow next to the wall and I did also make a roof beam just as a prop.

That dresses up the scene nicely.

I started with the garage crew, manager and two mechanics to start with. It’s hasegawas 1/24 racing figures set. Got them set up and cleaned up yesterday and today I will fill some gaps and then start painting. Nice to see the car next to people.
